Custom Website Packages Questions

Do I have to buy a package to get a new site?

No, you can purchase services a la carte if that suits you better. These packages simply combine multiple services that are often purchased together, and that can achieve a particular level of effectiveness for your site.

What’s the difference between “site builder” and “standalone” options?

A standalone site is a little like owning the building your physical store is located in, whereas a site builder website is like renting a location. Standalone sites cost a little more to set up and cost more, sometimes a lot more, in upkeep.

If you’re not sure what the right choice for your business is, I’d be happy to discuss the pros and cons of each option with you.

What site builders can I choose from?

You can choose Polyurb, Shopify, or Squarespace.

It’s possible to produce a quality business site with any of these platforms, but there are differences that can make one better for a certain site. When you purchase a website package, I’ll evaluate your needs and go over the pros and cons of each option with you.

What are “brochure pages”?

Those are the stylish pages that answer the what, why, who and where for customers. They tell people what your company does, why they should care, why you’re better than your competitors, who your company is, and where they can find you. Many small business websites only have brochure pages.

What do you mean by “copy that will help visitors convert”?

The conversion-centric copy that comes with all the packages is to persuade people already on your site to make a purchase or choose you as a service provider. It’s salesmanship in text.

Whereas SEO-optimized copy helps your site and/or social media profiles show up in search results for people that are looking for the type of products or services you offer, and are in the right geographic area.

Managed Web Hosting

If you have a standalone website (not on a website builder), I offer managed web hosting. If you want an all-inclusive package with hosting, my WordPress-powered website builder Polyurb, might be what you’re looking for.

Custom Development

How much does it cost? Unless your project is small, usually a lot. Fortunately, most businesses don’t need it.

If you do need it (or maybe just want eye-popping web design you can’t get any other way), get in touch and we can talk about what your project requires.
